Dr. Iris Buan,

Founder | Nurse Practitioner | Educator
Dr. Iris Buan is the founder of Healthcare CE Solutions and a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). She brings extensive experience in advanced practice, nursing education, and healthcare leadership.
In addition to her work as a clinician, Dr. Buan has taught pre-licensure and advanced nursing students in both classroom and clinical settings, focusing on medical-surgical nursing, fundamentals, and NCLEX preparation. She has also served in leadership roles in residential care and nursing program administration.
Her passion lies in bridging academic knowledge with practical application. Through Healthcare CE Solutions, Dr. Buan is dedicated to creating evidence-based CE programs that inspire growth, elevate practice, and improve patient outcomes.

Ava Septe Salarda,

Co-Educator | Nurse Practitioner | Wound Care Specialist
Ava Salarda is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in acute care, geriatrics, and nursing education. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing and holds certifications as an Adult/Geriatric Nurse Practitioner (NP-C) and Wound Care Certified (WCC).
Her background includes clinical practice across diverse patient populations, leadership as a director of nursing, and service as a nursing instructor. She also holds certifications in aesthetics and advanced nursing procedures, reflecting her commitment to expanding her scope of practice.
At Healthcare CE Solutions, Ava focuses on geriatrics, wound care, and advanced nursing practice, bringing a strong mentoring approach to continuing education. She is passionate about helping fellow clinicians strengthen their skills and deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
