The course provides practical strategies for applying the National CLAS Standards, ensuring language access, and reducing implicit bias in clinical practice. Learners will also review California’s legal and ethical frameworks, including nondiscrimination laws and interpreter requirements, with a focus on integrating culturally appropriate care into documentation and patient-centered outcomes. Through case studies and guideline-based instruction, participants will strengthen their ability to promote trust, equity, and quality in healthcare delivery.
